The Best BJJ Gyms in Tulsa, Oklahoma

You won't see many international team names on Tulsa's academies. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Tulsa is the one you might recognize from elsewhere, and most of the others go by names of their own, so you'll be judging them on the mat rather than by the logo.

The city has the most gyms, but we've included the suburbs too, and Broken Arrow, just to the southeast, could almost stand on its own. There are more south and southwest of the city in Bixby, Glenpool and Sapulpa, with Coweta out past Broken Arrow and Owasso up to the north. The gyms Google reviewers have written about most come from three different corners: Clinch Martial Arts Academy in Owasso, Triton Fight Center in Broken Arrow and Method Jiu Jitsu in Tulsa.

Tulsa is easy to get around by big-city standards, so trying two or three gyms before you sign up is realistic. If you live in Broken Arrow, you can do that shopping around without leaving town.
