The Best BJJ Gyms in San Jose, California

San Jose's jiu-jitsu leans south. South San Jose has the biggest cluster of gyms in the city, and it's also where you'll find American Kickboxing Academy, the area's most-reviewed gym on Google. Central San Jose has the next-biggest group, including Fightcraft and Caio Terra Academy, the next two on the review count. Beyond those two areas, gyms are scattered through neighborhoods like Cambrian, Burbank and West Valley.

Ralph Gracie, Caio Terra and 10th Planet all have academies in San Jose. We've also brought in gyms beyond the city line, in Santa Clara and Mountain View to the northwest and down through Morgan Hill to Hollister.

Several neighboring areas have pages of their own, so if you're toward the edge of the South Bay, check those as well. Up the Peninsula there's San Mateo, much of the East Bay is on our Fremont page, and over Highway 17 on the coast, there's Santa Cruz.
