The Best BJJ Gyms in Kyiv

Most of Kyiv's jiu-jitsu is on the right bank of the Dnipro. The Pecherskyi district, in the center, has the most gyms, with Obolonskyi to the north close behind and Solomianskyi, to the southwest, next. Podilskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi have a few more between them. If you live on the left bank, Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi have gyms too, so you won't need to cross the river for every session.

For Google reviews, no gym in Kyiv comes near Nikko Fight Club in Solomianskyi. Next come Bullterrier Fight Club's gym in Osokorky, over on the left bank, and Rocket Jiu-Jitsu, which is based at the Palace of Sports in Pecherskyi. Fight Sports has a Kyiv academy as well.

When you look a gym up, search in Ukrainian as well as English. Some academies go by a Cyrillic name, and typing джиу-джитсу into a map app can turn up places that a search for BJJ might miss. Timetables and replies may well be in Ukrainian too, so keep a translation app handy.
